We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Rehabilitation Support Services at Support for Independence, a private healthcare provider specialising in neurorehabilitation and complex care. About The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Rehabilitation Support Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care inline with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, regulatory frameworks, and best clinical practice.

Your responsibilities willl include:

  • Providing inspirational leadership to a team of     rehabilitation support workers, senior support staff, and clinical     colleagues.
  • Overseeing the assessment, implementation, and     ongoing review of person-centred support plans and risk assessments.
  • Working closely with our Senior Care Manager to     conduct initial client assessments and ensure smooth onboarding of new     support packages.
  • Leading on investigations into safeguarding     concerns, ensuring robust and timely responses in line with best practice     and regulatory expectations.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working     relationships with multidisciplinary professionals, external agencies,     families, and internal teams.
  • Driving continuous improvement through regular     auditing, service evaluations, and the implementation of quality assurance     strategies.
  • Participating in strategic planning and shaping     the long-term vision and goals of the company.
  • Ensuring that training, supervision, and staff     development align with current legislation, Care Certificate standards,     and clinical best practice.
  • Supporting the integration of health promotion     strategies within care delivery and promoting innovation and excellence     across the service.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about high-quality care and leadership in a complex care setting. You’ll need to be confident, approachable, and capable of managing both operational detail and strategic direction.

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or     equivalent)
  • An experienced manager or deputy manager in     health and social care, ideally with a background supporting individuals     with complex needs or neurological conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and     person-centred care
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and     communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, lead teams, and     manage challenging situations calmly
  • Experience with staff supervision, HR     practices, safeguarding, and care planning

Desirable:

  • A background in Social Work, Nursing, or a     related profession
  • Knowledge of acquired brain injury and complex     neuro needs
  • Familiarity with the Care Certificate and     training compliance
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Office and care     management systems)
