Rachel Wharton joined Support for Independence in November 2023 and has provided consistent, one-to-one support to the same client since her very first day. Her dedication and compassion are evident in the trusted relationships she has built—not only with her client but also with her colleagues.
Rachel values the strong sense of teamwork at SFI, where mutual support and camaraderie help everyone navigate both the rewarding and challenging moments of the job. She takes pride in being part of a team that truly looks out for one another.
Outside of work, Rachel is an avid reader and self-confessed bookworm. More recently, she’s discovered a love for the outdoors and spends much of her free time enjoying scenic walks and connecting with nature.
